BIOGRAPHY...

Ciaxa (1994-1996)
Ciaxa was the Layden brothers' first true professional band, forming out of the garage band Sleepy Wizard in the early 90s. Though Kenny Savage never performed with the group, his and Joseph's original music (written both together and seperately) were the main focus of Ciaxa, especially the proposed concept album "Un Millini Domini." Ciaxa became known as "Savannah's Holiday Band" and won several competitions and reader's polls in the Lowcountry. The band played bars, coffee shops, clubs, and private parties from Athens to Daytona and amassed quite a regional following before it's break up somewhere around 1996.
